Turbolader T3/T4 (XS Power) Größenvergleich KKK K26/27

I've started scouring the earth for turbochargers and EM's for my 400hp project... rs2 is not quite enough lol. I was hoping to get a K26/27 (tom/doug's old spec). In my search for RS2 EMs on ebay.de, i found this:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8032413291

"If you use the full boost 1,8 bar and 2,0 overboost it is no problem to get
    a torque of 600 Nm. (480 Hp)
yes it require a custom downpipe but its very easy .
The auction contains material you need in order to connect the Turbokit with
    the original S2 downpipe."

Anyone used a similar setup and can comment that this would give: 420hp; 550nm; boost @ ~3.5K (wanna have good 'cruisability' at 3K on the m-way; lots of power by 4K RPM).

Does it look as if this kit contains all the necesary pipes etc so no extra custom work is needed? I'm confused as to whether it requires the stock DP or a custom DP as well.. anyone tell by looking at this kit what it'd take to get it fitted?

Sooo hard making decisions which way to go when you havne't got a clue

    Thanks!

PM Doug_RS2 and ask as you'd need a remap regardless of which ever route you go and ask for advice on the matter.

LOL already done that, but I thought I'd ask some other members in case this kit is something others have had experience with! I'm looking at some good options right now with my original idea, of sticking with the proven RS2 route but just having a slightly bigger bolt-on turbo fitted. K26/27/29 for instance So, if you're reading this Doug, just delete my essay 'coz I'm taking the easier road! Makes sense to me as Tom had this setup on his 3B, and Doug as well - seeing as MRC will be remapping, I'm sure they'll have it tweaked!

        thanks

PS - BRY do you live on the forum? I think you replied quicker than I could refresh the screen! OT; as you're the brake guru do you know what pads I'll need - have the black calipers, i think they're 996? Just going with textar's again, wanna be sure i get the right ones for the garage meet!! Cheers.

I could be wrong, but, that EM looks like the one that has been talked about in the Intake & Exhaust section.... My question being to make sure the stock intake pipework still fits with this in place as it looks like the WG would be quite a close fit against the head.
